Fjord and Mountain

Spectacular fjord tours where, in addition to breathtaking nature, you also get to experience the world beneath the ocean surface. Combine this with good food and drink, and a knowledgeable and entertaining storyteller, and you have a memory worth keeping.
We take you through the fjords around Narvik, offering stunning views of the surrounding mountains and excellent opportunities to see the Northern Lights.

Narvik Harbor with Underwater Drone

We take you to Narvik harbor — not only an important harbor today due to security in the northern areas but also the site of one of World War II’s significant naval battles. The harbor area also offers a unique view over Narvik and the surrounding mountains. We bring you on a 2–3 hour tour where our captain will share stories about the history of Narvik harbor and explain why it may be even more important today. The highlight, however, is when we use our underwater drone to show you unique underwater footage of the shipwrecks from the largest Norwegian warships (Norge and Eidsvoll) that were sunk during the dramatic naval battle on April 9, 1940.

Fjord Tour with Fishing, Aquaculture, and Sea Eagles

We take you on a fishing trip to Vegglandet, where we visit a modern Norwegian fish farm — the world’s most important industry for ensuring enough food for the global population in the future, and Norway’s most significant export industry besides oil. You’ll first see a short introduction film in the cabin, showing how high-tech this industry has become, before witnessing firsthand how a modern fish farm operates. We’ll also send down our advanced underwater drone to show you what it looks like beneath the surface. On the way back, we serve our renowned fish soup, made with a base of North Norwegian mussels, as you enjoy the stunning views of sea and mountains while crossing the beautiful Ofotfjord. The area around the fish farm is also home to a local sea eagle population, so there are great chances to see this magnificent bird — Norway’s largest — with a wingspan of up to 2.5 meters, known to be powerful enough to take a full-grown lamb.

Northern Lights Tour

We take you out on the fjord so you can enjoy the Northern Lights from the sea, with our beautiful mountains as a backdrop and minimal light pollution — perfect for capturing spectacular photos. In cases where the Northern Lights don’t appear, we promise you’ll still leave us with great memories. We then bring you on a tour of Narvik harbor — not only an important harbor today due to security in the northern regions, but also the site of one of World War II’s most important naval battles. The harbor area provides a unique view of Narvik and the surrounding mountains. Our captain will share stories about the history of Narvik harbor and explain why Narvik, with its iron ore exports, KI center, and strategic location, has become even more important today. The highlight, once again, is when we use our underwater drone to show you exclusive underwater footage of the shipwrecks of Norway’s largest warships (Norge and Eidsvoll), sunk during the dramatic naval battle on April 9, 1940.
